Your adventure begins amidst the urban energy of Nairobi before swiftly transitioning into the unspoiled wilds of Samburu. Here, you will spend two unforgettable days at the Soroi Larsens Camp, where the distinctive wildlife and unique flora of the Samburu Game Reserve will be your companions.

The journey continues in the Maasai Mara, a legendary reserve that will be your home for the next two nights. You’ll experience the marvels of the Mara up close to the luxurious Soroi Luxury Migration Camp, joining the rhythm of life in one of Africa’s most extraordinary ecosystems. Finally, the Soroi Lions Bluff Lodge in the Lumo Wildlife Conservancy will be your sanctuary for the concluding two nights of your safari. Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi
Your journey into the wild begins today. Welcome to Nairobi, the vibrant heart of Kenya! You’ll be warmly greeted by our representative at the airport and transferred to Nairobi Wilson Airport, where you’ll take a scheduled light aircraft transfer to Samburu Game Reserve. Upon landing, you’ll be whisked away to the Soroi Larsens Camp, your home amidst the wilderness for the next two days. Settle in, enjoy the camp’s amenities, and get ready to explore the Samburu Game Reserve.

Day 2: The Game Drive Experience – Samburu Game Reserve
Immerse yourself in the stunning landscapes of the Samburu Game Reserve. Spend your day exploring the park with experienced guides and spotting a variety of wildlife on morning and afternoon game drives. In the evening, relish a sundowner as the sun sets, painting the sky in vibrant hues.

Day 3: Samburu – Maasai Mara: Fly to Masai Mara National Reserve
After a delightful breakfast, you’ll fly by scheduled light aircraft transfer from Samburu Game Reserve to the world-renowned Masai Mara Game Reserve. Upon arrival, our camp Manager will welcome you at the Soroi Luxury Migration Camp, your base for the next two days. Enjoy the camp’s luxurious amenities and prepare to delve into the wonders of the Mara.

Optional Excursion at an extra cost

• Day Excursion to Reteti Elephant Sanctuary
  It is located north of Samburu Game Reserve with a purpose of rescuing orphaned elephants and nurturing them back to good health before releasing them back to the wild gradually. Interestingly, most of its staff comprise of the local women. Get to interact with the rangers, witness the feeding process and educated on matters of conservation. The entire transfer time (to and back) is approx. 5 hrs with 1 hour visit time. The departure from the camp will be at 0900 hrs after the morning game drive.
• A Goat Feast in a Samburu Village
  Get an opportunity to interact with a local Samburu Village and experience a “taste” of a life of a Samburu. Participate in goat roasting ceremony usually done in a makeshift open fire and share with them a meal. Selected beverages will be served alongside. Departure from the camp will be at 1530 hrs winding down with a sundowner.
  Alternatively, you may choose to simply relax by the viewing platform with views of Mt. Ololokwe and the wildlife below or take a guided bird walk around the camp premises with the local naturalist guide.

Day 4: Full days in Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Experience a full day of exploration in the Maasai Mara, one of Africa’s premier wildlife reserves. Embark on two extended game drives in custom safari built 4×4 camp vehicles, seeking out the Big Five and experiencing the natural beauty of the Mara. Enjoy afternoon tea/coffee with cookies/cake, and unwind by the campfire in the evening before dinner.

Day 5: Maasai Mara Game Reserve – Private Lumo Community & Wildlife Conservancy: Fly to Lumo
After breakfast, you’ll transfer a scheduled light aircraft from the Maasai Mara Game Reserve to the tranquil Lumo Wildlife Conservancy. The Soroi Lions Bluff Lodge will be your home for the next two days, offering stunning views of the conservancy and luxurious accommodations.

Day 6: Full days in Lumo Community & Wildlife Conservancy
Savor a full day in the Lumo Community & Wildlife Conservancy. Embark on daily game drives, enjoying the diverse wildlife and beautiful landscapes. Take advantage of the unique experience of a night game drive. At the lodge, indulge in a refreshing 30-minute neck & back massage, a perfect way to unwind after a day of adventure.

The beautiful Taita Hills, Mount Kilimanjaro and Mkomazi Reserve on the Tanzanian side are just some of the features. The magical “Lion Rock” draws prides of lions on black, volcanic rock and offers the perfect photographic image! Your lodge is located on top of a hill that overlooks the conservancy. Views are unrivalled of the wilderness below ! Your expert Safari guide will pick you up from the Taita Airstrip for the transfer to the lodge with a game drive en-route. Wind up your day with a sundowner on the deck with beautiful sunset views and, if you are lucky get to see views of Africa’s highest mountain, the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro.

Day 7: Fly from Lumo Wildlife Conservancy to Nairobi
After a hearty breakfast on your final day, you’ll fly by scheduled light aircraft transfer back to Nairobi Wilson Airport from the Lumo Wildlife Conservancy. As you prepare for your journey home, reflect on the incredible experiences and unforgettable memories you’ve made.
